Job Description

Position: Head of Maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with executives to develop and implement maintenance strategies that will align with the organization's current and future business plans.
- Oversee the overall maintenance budget, monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and prioritize spending.
- Monitor time lost due to equipment malfunctions, identify, research and prepare recommendations on significant changes that need to be made to resources, procedures, systems, equipment or technology.
- Negotiate large or strategically important supplier and vendor contracts.
- Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of managers and other professionals to ensure maintenance activities, meet established targets and standards.
- Develop new industry leading standards.
- Institute an effective system to track, monitor and report equipment performance, plant reliability, cost efficiency and related indices for routine functional reviews and stewardships.
Attributes required:
- Strong on ethics and integrity and ability to assimilate the Toyota Way and Values
- Have strategic approach towards preventive and periodic Maintenance.
- Strong leadership qualities to develop and lead big teams.
- Analytical thinking. Can see big picture and correlate with future maintenance needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Experience: More than 10 years of relevant experience.
Qualification: BE - Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic from reputed local or foreign institutions.
