Vacancy Announcement
The Research Council aims to create an innovation ecology that is responsive to local needs and international trends, fosters social harmony, and leads to creativity and excellence.
We are looking to recruit a Legal Researcher on a temporary contract, who fulfils the following job description:
Job purpose:
- Coordinate all legal advice and counsel related to contracts, intellectual property and any other laws related to any specific transaction needed.
Job Responsibilities and duties:
- Review and draft contracts.
- Draft contracts that deal with Intellectual property rights.
- Drafting legal letters and memorandums. Preparing meeting minutes. Preparing reports.
- Drafting legal researches.
- Understand the strategic direction set by senior management and how it relates to team goals.
- Other administrative work.
Required Qualification and Experience:
- Degree in law, preferably from US or UK.
- Five years' experience or more.
- Fluent (writing and speaking) in English. Arabic is optional.
- Experience in research contracts and intellectual property contracts (preferred).
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
