Job Description
Lynchpin Training is looking for young professional Finance Officer to be placed in its Dubai Knowledge Village Office. This position requires you to prepare financial statements, maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll and personnel administration, purchasing, maintaining accounts payable & receivables and managing office operations.
Job Overview
As a Marketing Executive based in Dubai you will be responsible for planning and executing the marketing campaigns for corporate and retail training programs. The target audience of Lynchpin is spread across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in UAE. The role requires the development of content driven inbound and outbound marketing activities and supports the sales team with training products promotion activities. You will be required to create and present a marketing strategy to the key stakeholders to gain approval and buy-in, take overall responsibility for all marketing planning and execution with leadership and support from the management. You may be required to work with remote content marketing team and graphic designers to design and develop marketing content.
Responsibilities and Expectations
The key responsibilities in this function include the following:
Prepare monthly, half yearly and annual finance statements
Prepare and track half yearly budgets and highlight the variances
Track the KPIs set by the management and ensure that any deviation should be timely highlighted
Periodic reporting on various profitability measure including product profitability and business segment profitability
Prepare weekly bank reconciliation to track any unrecorded items in the bank ledger
Put effective cash management controls to manage the cashflow of the organization
Prepare, follow and track the weekly cash planning sheet to ensure that planned cash collection/outflow is achieved at desired level
Keenly follow outstanding accounts receivables for timely cash collection
Reconcile the vendor ledger and set the vendor payment timelines
Prepare monthly payroll of permanent and outsourced employees
Recording all accounting entries in accounting software
Prepare a weekly MIS pack for the management containing relevant indicators for all key departments of the organization
Oversee the general office operation tasks of the training department including liaison with students, trainers etc.
Maintain the training records of the students and corporate training programs
Job Requirements
Mandatory
Minimum 2 years' experience in service industry Accounts and Finance department, with exposure to accounting software
A bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance
Hands on experience in using Microsoft Office Tools
