Job Description
REQUIRED SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
- In-charge of collection of receivables for all parties.
- Administers the creation of delivery order (D.O.) & sales invoice, LC invoice.
- Monitors all purchase invoices (for payment to suppliers).
- Prepares the reconciliation of debtor's & creditor�s accounts.
- Assists in finalization of accounts and finance.
- Handles the Petty Cash Fund.Arranges the issuance of checks intended for collection, disbursement & releasing.
- Research financial information for audit purposes and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial records and report and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist bookkeepers, coordinators, principals, and administrators on day-to-day financial matters, reports and questions. - Assist auditors in analysis work.
- Prepare and enter journal entries which include correcting entries, allocating expenditures, grant related entries, etc.
- Assist in year-end closing and audits.
- Ensure proper accounting and reporting of assigned grants, which include year-end calculation of accounts receivables and deferred revenues.
- Approve and code construction in progress payments and reconcile payments to contract balances
- Certify funds for change orders and contracts.
- Allocate construction in progress salaries quarterly.
- Approve requisitions for construction in progress and forwards them to Office of Purchasing.
Requirements
4+ Years of Experience in Finance
Must be Post Graduate in accounting
Must be an expert in UAE Financial Transactions
