Job Description

A well established High-End Steel Fabrication company based in Jebel Ali, Dubai is urgently looking for HSE Officer.

Requirements Are As Follow:-
- Ensures that all personnel are advised of any HSE hazards by delivering induction courses and toolbox talks, and that the necessary controls and contingency arrangements associated with the work activities are in place.
- Promptly responds to all reports received from any employee of non-compliance, unsafe conditions, accidents and other activities.
- Monitor EHS implementation as specified in EHS Policy, EHS Manual, System Procedures, Code of Practices (COP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), ensure its compliance and give feed back to line Manager.
- Participate in work place inspection.
- Arrange and provide EHS training to employees and contractors.
- To ensure that all workmen are fully aware of their health and safety responsibilities obligations
- To ensure that all precautionary measures and protective equipment are used where applicable and maintained in good order.
- To ensure that all safe systems of work are implemented and complied with.
- To ensure that regular HSE inspections are carried out in the work areas and on sites.
- To be involved in office, site and works safety meetings.
- Liaise with HSE Manager on all matters regarding HSE.
- Identifying the hazards and participation in the preparation of Risk Assessments.
- Investigate and report on any HSE incidents and recommend preventive measures. Provides analysis of root cause and implements corrective actions to provide continuous improvement to the operation
- Assist project teams during pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters
- Provide support on the implementation of Company-wide HSE initiatives e.g. ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, etc.
Perform additional responsibilities that may be added from time to time depending on organizational requirements

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree/Diploma in Engineering
- NEBOSH IGC Certified
- Fluency in English Language
- Microsoft office knowledge
- 2-3 years' experience in similar field
